The Organizing Committee of the 5^th Asian Petanque Championship has the great honor to inform Samdach, Yours Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen that Cambodia will be hosting the 5^th Asian Petanque Championship 200 1.

This event will be held from November 24 to 25, 2001 at the petanque court of Kandal city hall with the participation of the petanque team from Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Vietnam, Japan and Cambodia.

This competition will be lived by TVK. The Opening Ceremony will be presided over by H.E SOK AN, Senior Minister, Minister of the Council Minister and President of the "Federation de Boules et de Petanque du Cambodge" on November 24, 2001 from 8 AM.

The final match and the closing ceremony will be presided over by H.E SAR KHENG Deputy Prime Minister, Co-Minister of Interior and Honorary President of the "Federation de Boules et de Petanque du Cambodge" on November 25, 2001 from 4 PM.

It is to mention that on November 23, 2001 from 3 PM, there will be a demonstration of the Sport Boules to the public by the players from French and Japan.

We would like to invite Samdach, Yours Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen to participate in this championship in order to make this event more solemn and to cheer up our Cambodian players.
