Senmonorom Trip
is a Mondulkiri Guesthouse and Tourism Service, which started in October,
2002, with the mission to educate Khmers and tourists about this remote
area through responsible tourism.
Since our inception, we have organized over 20 tours for both Khmers
and foreigners. Our experience
makes our tours unique because we take pride in the rich diversity of
animals, tradition, culture and unique vegetation only Mondulkiri offers.
We have knowledgeable staff with excellent English speaking skills.

Welcome to
Senmonorom Trip!

Mondulkiri is located along the North East boarder of Cambodia. As Cambodia’s largest and most geographically diverse province it makes a unique experience for any traveler. Inhabited by 40,000 people, Mondulkiri’s diversity in ethnicity rivals no other place. The majority of people descended from the Phnong tribe but other groups include Kraul, Khmer, Kregn, Ro Ougn, Streng, Lao, Chray, Khauy, Cham, Thome and Tom Pone. In the dry season, much of the vegetation becomes a rich brown colour and in the wet season dozens of shades of lush green vegetation makes for stunning photographic opportunities. With just two people per square kilometer, sprawling fields, coffee plantations, and jungle, you’ll feel like you’re the only one there!
SENMONOROM
TOWN
Senmonorom, founded in the 19th
century, is the capital of Mondulkiri, and is a quaint little community nestled
between lush hills and two small lakes.
With an average elevation of 800m above sea level, Senmonorom can get
quite cool in the evenings, especially in the beginning of dry season, so it is
recommended that you bring an extra layer of clothes for night time. With minority villages surrounding the town,
picturesque and serene waterfalls, it makes for great stop for travelers who
want to relax and take in some fresh air! On the road to Senmonorom you will
often see Phnong people toting their distinctive wicker baskets loaded with
goods to sell in the market.
