Loans
Readers may borrow up to two books for a period of five working days upon presentation of a valid ID card. Reference works, news and magazines cannot be borrowed.

In the present, the Library is organizing the system of CDS/ISIS in order to set up the Catalogue Book and as well as for searching the title of book.
All the Library's holdings are indexed in the Catalogue of MoE Library Holdings, and registered in a computer database. The database user CDS/ISIS software developed by UNESCO, which allows users to search for book titles, authors and keywords.
Since Library was opened in 1994, there are many people come to read and research information from the library. Almost of them are staff of Ministry of Environment and the another one are come from related institutions, Universities and schools of Cambodia. Anyway, the library of Ministry of Environment also provides information and bast service for researcher, who are interested with environmental issues.
Books Classification
The MoEL has been hiring one technical librarian from the national library . He was hiring as a part time jobs and gets monthly supplement of US$200. His duty is to MoE librarian on :
Up to now , the MoE Library have been learning on books' classification by using Deway Decimal classification ( DDC ) system . We also use CDS /ISIS software system to store books' data, which is available for searchers who want to find books by title, author, subject and code number. Moreover, the librarians learn learn how to classify books in the afternoon and practice to install the data in the next day morning Step by step, they had clssified 850 books and put these data in to computer .
