On
her studies:
|
“I
am good at Khmer language but the most difficult subject is mathematics
because I am not good with numbers. My parents allow me to go to school
because they want me to get an education. I am happy as well that they
enrolled me at the school. I can speak Lao but I don’t know how to
write it. I saw some foreign tourists come to visit my village but I
can’t speak to them. I want to learn English so that I can meet
them.”

On
the new building:
|
“I
like the new school building. I don't want to learn in the old, ugly
building. The new building is bright and beautiful.”
