The Yeang Dan Kum Nippon Foundation School

On herself:

I am sixty-one years old and have seven children. Seven of my grandchildren are studying at this school. My wife works as a cook at the school kitchen. She cooks together with the village chief’s wife and feeds the children a meal everyday. The kitchen was donated by DONBOSCO (a Thai NGO).

On the new building:

I am very happy with the new building because it encouraged children to go to school. The other villagers are also happy and support this new school too. It pleases me to see that more children wish to go to school. There are too many people here who do not have education and are illiterate.
