The Tokyo Shintoshin Rotary Club School

The Tokyo Shintoshin Rotary Club has supported two kids from their school to study at the Junior high school in Rovieng district's town. They are sister and brother. I met both of them yesterday evening.

Chhuon E Soeun is 16 year olds. She has four brothers and four sisters. She is the 3rd child in the family. Now she is studying at 7th grade of the Rovieng Junior high school. In this first semester of this year, she ranked number 5 among her 35 classmates.

"At school, I am bad in English because I didn't learn English language at the Primary school," she said. "I think English is a bit difficult to study," she said.

"Now I am very happy of having study at the Junior high school, but I don't know why I am happy," she said. "At school, I have never been absent," she said.

"My brother and I have received financial support to study at the Junior high school from the donor of the Tokyo Shintoshin Rotary Club in August 2002" she said.

Chuan Narith is a 14-year-old boy. Now he is studying at the 7th grade of the Rovieng Junior high school, the same class with his older sister. At the first semester of this year, he ranked number 3.

"At school, I am good in Chemi," he said. "I think Chemi is easier to study and to remember than other subjects in the school's curriculum," he said.

"I ride a bicycle to school every day and it takes about 30 minutes to go to school," he said.

"When I grow up I want to be a nurse or doctor because I want to save the life of sick people," he said.

"I would like to thank the donor of the Tokyo Shintoshin Rotary Club school for supporting me and my sister to study at the Junior high school," he said.
