|
In Their Own Words
| On the new building: | “The
new school is much larger than the old one.
It is not crowded and is a nice place to study.
At the old school, we could not study when it rained.
I didn’t like studying there.
I like coming to school now in my free time because I can meet
with my friends and talk.”
|
| On school subjects: | “I like Khmer and then
social studies because those two subjects are easy.”
|
| On traveling: | “I
have never left this province, but if I could go abroad, I would like to
go to France. I think
France is the best and most developed country in the world.”
|
| On his future: | “When I grow up I want to be
a nurse or doctor because I want to cure poor people when they are
ill.”
|
| Message for donor: | “I
would like to thank the Hokkaido Nayoro Keiryo group for giving us a
school and I wish them prosperity.” |
