Sok Savit is a third grade teacher at The Osamu and Noriko Sugita School.
He is 24 years old. He is married with one child.

"My wife's name is Kong Sithan. She is 19 years old,
and is a farmer. I have one daughter who is two years old. She is too
young to go to school."

| On his job:

"I have been teaching at this school since 1999. I am
very happy here even though my salary is small because I have pity for
the children who are living in the countryside."

| On the new school:

"I was very glad when I heard the news that JRFC and
the Sugitas would not only help build a new school, but also give us
computers and send teachers for the kids at this remote school. It is
very kind of you to help this village."
