| On the new school: | “I like the new building
because it is large and nice. The
roof doesn’t leak and walls on the sides so that rain cannot come in.
When it’s raining, I can keep studying, so it helps me and the
other students study.”

| On school subjects: | “I like mathematics because it
is easy to understand. I
don’t like social science because it is difficult to memorize the
lessons.”

| On his free time: | “I
help my parents in the fields when I am not at school.
Sometimes I play volleyball with my friends.”

| On his future: | “I would like to graduate from high school because I would like to get a good job. My parents think that it is important for me to study in high school. I want to go to Siem Reap town to stay with my uncle while I go to school. Then I want to work in Siem Reap and run a business.” |
