The Tokunori Morisaki School No. Two

Mr. Sob Seun, the school director
(Mar, 2001)
In
Their Own Words. . .
Mr. Sob Seun is the school director of The
Tokunori Morisaki School Number Two.
| on the new building:
|
“I am happy with the new building because it is easy to
teach in. I think that this
new building is the best thing for the school because it makes the
students happy, so they like to come to school.
My school is well known because of our concrete building with
steel beams. It is the nicest school in the area.”
|
| on teaching: |
“I became a school director in 1989, and have been
teaching for 8 years. I
became a teacher because I love this job and want to help the villagers.
I am happy because the students support and push me.”
|
| on school subjects: |
“The kids
like to learn Mathematics and Literature because those two subjects are
easy. The kids don’t
generally like Social Science because this subject includes Art and the
kids are always shy about coming up to the blackboard to show their
work. I like to teach Mathematics because it’s easy to find or
make the study instruments. I
don’t like teaching Social Science because we lack the study
materials.”
|
| on the future of his students: |
“I think my students will go on to Secondary School and get
good jobs in the future. I
also think that Cambodia will develop in the future because I see all of
the professions developing every day.”
|
| message for the donor: |
“Finally, I would like to thank Mr. Tokunori Morisaki
very much who helped build this building.” |
