In Their Own Words. . .

"I am happy to be able to study in the beautiful new school."

on the old school:  "The old school had no roof or tables."

on her favorite subject: "I like geography because I learn all about my country. But, I like all subjects." (Although Sopheap likes to learn about Cambodia, she has never traveled outside of her village.)

on hobbies:  "I like to exercise."

on what she wants to be when she grows up: "I want to be a teacher. I want to teach the young generation the same knowledge I have."
