The National Archives of Cambodia (NAC) is a department of the Council of Ministers.The NAC is responsible for preserving documents, created by the Government of Cambodia, which possess enduring legal and historic value. These include records of the French colonial administration (1863-1954) and post-independence Cambodian Governments.It manages 1800 linear meters of documents, covering every field of government administration. It is a public institution that works towards making these documents accessible to the current Cambodian administration, organizations and individual researchers.
