Girl #93 - Srey Oun

Location of the school: Dim Srey Oun is a 13 year old enrolled in the 6th grade at the Elizabeth Rinehant Ohrstrom School, #268, in Speanmeachey commune, Semonorom district, Mondulkiri province.
Srey Oun has two sisters and one brother. She lives with only her mother. Her father died in 2003. The mother is a construction worker and earns 6000Riels per day (=$1.50) which is too little to support them. She cannot eat enough and her health is not well. She stays home to help her family to sell small biscuits for extra income.
After the meeting us, the mother and Srey Oun were very excited about participating in our program and the mother agreed to send Srey Oun back to school.
