Profile: Tem Touch is 14 years old and a forth grade student at the 2006-2007 semesters of the Salakrao Nippon Foundation primary school in Toul village, Pailin.

Current situation: Her family’s homeland is in Battambong province, they moved to live here four year ago at the time that her father died. They live on someone’s land; growing corn and the output get $25 per year but expense all for seeds and other materials. There are six members in the family. She has one sister and four brothers. She is the fourth child in the family. Her eldest brother is a worker and her second brother is broken one leg but he could work someday when he is fine. And her third brother stopped studying to help her mother. Her younger sister had conferred to live with relative. The reason for her frequently school absence because of her mother ask her to work for someone hired such as picking corn, clean grass on their plantation, earning 80 cents a day. Her mother is indebt for about $700 for invested capital, which is why they have to work hard for this loan.

Problem she faces: The family is living in the poorest condition. Financially problem
