Profile: Sar Srey Larb is 15 years old and a fourth grade student at the 2006-2007 semesters of the Salakrao Nippon Foundation primary school in Stoeung Trong village, Pailin.
Current situation: Her family is farmer. Her parent’s homeland is in Takeo province, they moved to live here for years ago, and living on a small land; doing faming and selling vegetable and fruit for surviving. They collect the output for every three months, by earning $25. Besides of faming, they feed cow and oxen in exchange with the neighbors. She has three bothers and two sisters. She is the fourth child in the family. All of her siblings are also attending classes. There are eight members in the family. The reason for her often gets school absent due to her parent ask her to look after animals, house keeping, etc. However, her parent tries to work hard to support all children to attend school.
Problem she faces: A lot of housework and have no enough time to read book
Suggestion: Her parents are promised to send her to attend school as schedule provided.
Support: we pay her parents $10 a month ($120 a year)
