Girl #55 - Tem Marady

Location of the school: The Ezra Vogel Special Skills School, village 5, Labanserk commune, Banlung district, Ratanakiri province, #220Girl student: Tem Marady is a poor girl student in the school. She is thirteen years old. She was in the sixth grade. She was a drop-out student in last year, 2005.
Why we are sponsoring the girl: Marady has one sister and two brothers. Her father, I Vik, is 39 years old. He is a worker in the vegetable garden of the other families. Her mother, Chiv Kim Aunn is 36 years old. She stays at home as a housewife. The income from the works of her father is about 8000Riel ($2.00) a day. They rent the house for the family lives, 40000Riels ($10) a month.
Marady did not have opportunity to attend school because of the above problems that she must help the housework and the work of her father in the vegetable garden.
Finally the family is happy to support Marady to return to school.
