Profile: Nuon Rath is 15 years old and a six grade student at the 2006-2007 semesters of the Overlake primary school in Tuol Nimith village, Pailin.
Current situation: Her family is a farmer. Her father passed away many years ago. There are eight members in the family. She has three brothers and two sisters. She is the fifth child in the family. Her house had pawned to someone, and it will be terminated at the end of this month because they don’t have budget to pay back to the pawnbroker. Unfortunately, her family will move to live in the farm, but let Nuon Rath to stay with their relative nearby her school. Moreover, among of her sibling are farmers, they get very low grade in the school. She often missed school to work at field as gathering corn and help her mother growing crop for their own plantation. The average income from all the children is about $5 a day, but expense all for food and something else.
Problem she faces: The family is living in the worst condition. They will lose their house soon and will not have suitable place to stay. Have no extra income.
Suggestion: She really needs support from us, lest she is forces to drop out of school.
