Mang Phalla is 7 years old and a first grade student at the 2006-2007
semester of the Tokyo-West Rotary Club primary school in Meanchey village,
Dombork Rong commune, Phnom Srouch district, Kompong Speu province.
Current
situation: Her family migrated to live here for 17 years ago,
as there weren’t any job to up there (Her homeland). Her father
got leg disable people for the past three years. Her mother sells Khmer
noodle, by earning $1 a day. During the farming season they could work
for someone hire, earning $1.30 a day. She has four brothers and two
sisters. She is the fifth kid in the family. There are eight members
in the family. Her mother asking her to droop out of school sometimes
is due to taking care of her younger siblings. Her mother usually got
dizzy and weakness when she working a lot. Her parents don’t have
own land. Her family is living in the worst condition. They are in debt
for about $300 that is why they are much worry and have to work hard
for that but still not solving.
Problem
she faces: Poverty, Her mother has physical illness.

She needs support from us because the family has no stable work to do
