Profile: Vuth Dany is 12 years old and third grade student at the 2005-2006 semester of the Lee Rulin primary school in Pras-Sva village, Banteay Chakrey commune, Prek Sdach district Prey Veng province.
Current Situation: Her family’s homeland is in Kompong Speu province. They came to live here when she was a toddler, living on relative’s land. She has two sisters and two brothers. She is the eldest child in the family. There are seven members in the family. She often misses school due to poverty, housework, taking care of younger siblings and working in rice field when someone is needed. Besides working at rice field her father often comes to Phnom Penh to looking for work as construction worker. Her teacher said, she is a smart student in the class and studies hard too.
Problem she faces: Poverty, her mother not is well (sickness), her father has not stable work to do.
